Background practice. I figured I should start simple after plenty of advice in the forums. :heart: THANK YOU GUYS I LOVE YOU.

There are two ways to see this piece, firstly, Fyr might be lying down on her front and facing the camera...or...she could be buried in the ground. Like a plant LOL.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ONE TRIES TO AVOID PERSPECTIVE. YOU GET HUMANOID PLANTS. NOT GOOD. :iconnotimpressedplz:

Photoshop was not abused in the making of this piece.

I'm pretty sure even normal members have that option. XD Just not the critique one.

But Oooooo, background! I REALLY like how you made the clouds all crosshatched and stuff yet still 'soft'. Hell, the crosshatching in general is pretty damn awesome. :) And the colours used in this make it seem like it could actually be an illustration in a book (as in it's pretty damn good XD).

And ZOMG LIPS. D: Very NICE lips. :)

It IS a simple background. I originally wanted to go nuts and add a whole ass load of stuff into the back...but then I realised that I'd die trying to color it in without any inking at all. D8

OH MY A MONTH? YOU NEED TO DRAW NAOOOOOO.

School takes up too much tttiiiieeemmmm. Q___Q

Very effecive background, regardless of its simplicity, and great choice of colours.
